| | my new car and other points of interest
I have a license plate now. These pictures were taking about a month ago. My plate reads 845 UTB. UTB? I wasn't a huge fan when I saw it. I read it as youtube. Meh. I named my car Audri II. Y'all should know where that's from. Robert will for sure. The gas mileage is pretty good, but I drive it everywhere and I go a lot more places now that I have one. My first car payment is due next week. Despite the new expenses, I'm really glad I have a car now. Tom called me today and asked when I was coming down. So we decided Wednesday works for both of us. I'm off work at 4, he's off at 6. How does that work for the rest of you? I have no inclination to plan anything. I'd just like to come down and hang out with everyone. Only problem is...where do I drive to? Where is the new hang out place? Kimberely's? Troy's? Russell's? Prolly not Ted's since he prolly spends all his time with his girlfriend. Someone lemme know where I should drive to! I know where Kim lives, so I'm going to suggest there. I still work at Inkley's. Woo. I'm waiting for my district manager's decision on where I can transfer to in order to get a promotion and a raise. There are three options on the table--Redwood, Cottonwood, and State Street. The State Street store is the super store and would get me oh so much commission that I would totally celebrate if I got that promotion. My second choice would be Cottonwood. It's bigger than Redwood and busier. Bigger and busier means more money. I move into my apartment in the Avenues at the end of August. I got permission to paint my walls. After the current tenants move out, the manager Bob is going to clean up the place and then let me paint before I move in. That'll be way easier than painting with my furniture in the apartment. I'm going to make my living room a jade green. One wall in my kitchen will be stone blue/grey. And my bedroom will be a greyish lilac. I can't decide if I want to switch my kitchen and living room colors though--make the living room blue and the kitchen wall green. The bedroom is lilac for sure, though. I have until August to decide. End transmission. (note to self: I want to find the CD Night in Galacia...or maybe it was Galicia) |
